چکیده
This article presents a novel method for controlling virtual audience system (VAS) in Virtual Reality (VR) application, called STAGE, which has been originally designed supervised public speaking training university seminars dedicated to the preparation and delivery of scientific talks. We are interested creating pedagogical narratives : encompass affective phenomenon rather than organizing events changing course scenario, plans using our focus on affects it arouses trainees. Efficiently towards specific objective while evaluating speaker’s performance challenge seminar instructor: high level cognitive physical demands required be able control audience, whilst performance, adjusting allowing quickly react user’s behaviors interactions. It is indeed critical limitation number existing systems that they rely Wizard Oz approach, where tutor drives reaction performance. address this problem by integrating with VAS high-level component tutors, allows predefined behavior rules, defining custom ones, as well intervening during run-time finer unfolding plan. At its core, offers tool program, select, modify monitor interactive representation. The STAGE following features: i) API program focusing situation objectives, ii) an visualization interface iii) computation user metrics, iv) semi-autonomous composed spectators automatic reactions speaker surrounding plan V) possibility instructor embody spectator ask questions or guide from within Environment. present here design, implementation tutoring integration discuss reception end-users.

Designing a new robust control for virtual inertia control in the microgrid with regard to virtual damping
Background and Objectives: Virtual inertia control, as a component of a virtual synchronous generator, is used for the implementation of synchronous generator behaviour in microgrids. In microgrids that include high-capacity distributed generation resources, in addition to virtual inertia, virtual damping can also lead to improvement of frequency stability of the microgrid. The purpose of the c...

Virtual reality (VR) exposure therapy is a common treatment for phobia and the efficacy of this technique has proved. The darkness phobia is one of the most common disorders among the children. This is the first research about the darkness phobia and using VR to treat the patients. The VR system designed in this article is composed from two parts: Mechatronic devices and graphics unit. As a chi...

Controlling Social Stress in Virtual Reality Environments
Virtual reality exposure therapy has been proposed as a viable alternative in the treatment of anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder. Therapists could benefit from extensive control of anxiety eliciting stimuli during virtual exposure. Two stimuli controls are studied in this study: the social dialogue situation, and the dialogue feedback responses (negative or positive) between ...
